OK, so I was actually born on the other side of the world in Tallinn, Estonia. My mom and I moved to the US in 1997 to join my American-born stepdad, so I’ve been in New Orleans for almost 20 years and cannot imagine it any other way. I consider myself raised and rooted in New Orleans — especially since I did marry a born-and-raised New Orleanian. I have no doubt it will be my home forever.

I’m proud to have graduated from three excellent schools in New Orleans. Each one offered me not only a great education, but also many good friends and the irreplaceable experience of living in this city. I continue to use what I learned in my current career, whether it’s positioning listings in the marketplace, emotionally guiding my clients through the process, or negotiating contracts.

  • Benjamin Franklin High School – class of 2004
  • Tulane University – A.B. Freeman School of Business – BSM in 2008
    • double majors in Consumer Behavior/Marketing and Psychology
  • Loyola University – College of Law – JD in 2013
    • passed the Louisiana Bar in summer of 2013

Before becoming a Realtor, I spent many years buried in books, but I also worked in sales and customer service and clerked at a couple of great law firms in New Orleans. Therefore, being a realtor has allowed me to connect the dots along my path. It’s been pretty great:

  • Keller Williams Realty New Orleans Rookie of the Year 2015
  • Keller Williams Realty New Orleans Top Producer Award 2015, 2016, and 2017
  • helped my clients close over 30 transactions, whether they were selling, buying, renting, or investing

Being an active member of some local organizations has been given me yet another way to be involved with and improve my city. I feel especially passionate about the historic preservation of New Orleans architecture, so that we and future generations can continue to relish in the uniqueness and charm of our city. I’m currently a member of:

  • Preservation Resource Center
    • participant and committee member for the Great Neighborhood Sellabration
    • certified Historic House Specialist
    • homeowner included on the Shotgun House Tour 2017
    • chair of the Shotgun House Tour 2018
  • Junior League of New Orleans
  • Faubourg St. John Neighborhood Association

As much as I love my job and work hard, I try to find some time to play hard too. Some of the things I enjoy most in the world include:

  • cooking, baking, curing, etc. and then hosting guests to help eat it all
  • traveling (17 countries and counting)
  • scavenging, basically – thrift stores, flea markets, estate sales, Craigslist, I love them all
  • on a related note, restoring and re-upholstering old furniture
  • sewing curtains, pillows, whatnot for my home
  • gardening and working on that green thumb (still)
  • obsessing over design blogs on a daily basis
